Welcome to our new blog!

Well here it is at last - a brand new shiny blog to reflect the next shiny new era at!

We bid farewell to our old blog after many years of faithful service, and welcome this new platform for us to share news, user stories, and great content from the mind mapping world! We've got a little bit of tidying up to do, and several years of old content to bring across and update, but the great news is we now have a much more dynamic, easy to use, and easy to share blog for users of Biggerplate to engage with!

So... what can you expect from the new and improved Biggerplate blog?

Well, first and foremost, you'll see much more content coming from us over the coming weeks, months, and years, including many more use cases and case study articles from our community members, and much more regular news and updates about the great mind mapping software companies we work with. We'll also be sharing news of key projects and progress at, as well as details of upcoming events, workshops, and webinars. There's a lot happening at Biggerplate, and we now have a better way of keeping our members informed and involved in all the exciting projects that are underway!

What's improved?

Hopefully the first thing you'll notice (and like) is an improved layout, that is mobile responsive, and generally a bit more 2015...!
We have tidied up the tags and categories, to provide a more accurate and specific way to browse content both new and old, in addition to highlighting the content author, and other articles they have posted. Myself and Barney will be leading the content creation, but you can expect to see a few more names and faces publishing articles very shortly.

You'll notice that each blog has a clear comments area, and we would love to see your questions, comments, and feedback in response to what you read here. The comments system uses Disqus, which enables you to login and leave a comment using your Facebook, Twitter, or Google accounts, meaning it's hopefully quicker and easier for you to share your own views than ever before.

From our perspective, a key piece of this new blog is the potential value it can have in building up search engine friendly content that is fully integrated into the Biggerplate blog, which will (in time) help us to creep up some of those search rankings that are so important in helping new people discovering the fantastic mind map content and resources available at!

So... stay tuned, share your feedback, and please share any articles you see here that take your interest. The next era of Biggerplate Blogging is going to be a busy one, and we hope to make this part of the site a lively, engaging, informative, and industry-leading reference point for all our members, and anyone who takes an interest in the big wide world of mind mapping!
